Rockport Makers Festival is a holiday shopping festival in the seaside village of Rockport, Mass. This is the second year of our hugely successful event co-produced by Rusty and Ingrid Creative Company, The Town of Rockport and The Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce.
Our first year created a magically festive atmosphere in the town and brought thousands of holiday shoppers to shop for handmade gifts. The festival is a town-wide event, with events happening throughout the walkable village, including horse drawn carriages, live music, food trucks and creative ”maker” events. We produce a full-color map to guide visitors to the attractions, and offer a tote bag giveaway and raffle prizes.
A highlight of the festival are our indoor Holiday Markets which happen in several iconic locations throughout the village. This year, we are adding a third market location to expand the market, and to create a space for scheduled interactive crafting events.
Our 2019 Holiday Market locations include:
The Rockport Art Association and Museum
12 Main St, Rockport, MA
Holiday Market in the galleries of this beautiful, and iconic destination
Brackett’s Ocean View Restaurant
25 Main St, Rockport, MA
Beautiful ocean views, with attached cafe & donut shop
and new this year:
18 Broadway, Rockport, MA
An historic meeting hall with two floors and space for scheduled maker demos and events.
This event is produced by Rusty and Ingrid Creative Company, Rockport-based makers and long-time market vendors. We look forward to an amazing event this year!
